Acronis Driver Monitor monitors drive’s health through S.M.A.R.T. interface. Even if your drive doesn’t support S.M.A.R.T, you can use custom scripts to let Acronis monitor your drive properly. When you run this utility tool for the first time you’ll see information regarding three aspects: Disks, Backup, and Critical events. In the disk section, it shows you an overview about your drive information like temperature and power on time. If you want to see detailed information about your hard drive, then you can check out the S.M.A.R.T parameters tab. It display information like read error rate, seek error rate, power on hours, spin retry count, power cycle count, airflow temperature, command timeout, reported uncorrectable error, and many other useful information.
If any problem is found on your drive by Acronis Drive Monitor, a warning will be displayed with an exclamation mark. You can check out the Critical Events tab for more detailed information about that event, and maybe some fixes or hints on how to correct it.
