Nintendo is gearing up to launch its highly popular Switch console in China, the biggest gaming market in the world.
China has very strict rules about video games, so Nintendo has partnered up with Chinese company Tencent to bring its games to the market there.
Tencent will also brings it popular Chinese games to the Switch, including Honor of Kings and Arena of Battle.
When the Switch launches in China in December, Nintendo will have local versions of Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild (in 2018), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (launch day), and many others.
In addition, a bunch of games on the Switch eShop will also be available in China, including Puyo Puyo Tetris, Sonic Forces, and others.
China is a massive video game market and could be a huge boost to Nintendo if the company can get a strong foothold there with the Switch.
But this is also a big challenge for Nintendo from a supply perspective, given the worldwide shortages the Switch is experiencing right now.
