There may be times when you’re in a situation where you want to access some article or tutorial over the internet, but you can’t due to any internet access. Instead of that, think if you had a hard copy of that particular web page that would have been much helpful. The simplest way is to save the web page as HTML/HTM file. It would have been a lot easier if you could save the web page as an image or PDF file. Saving a file in image or PDF format has its own advantages. First you can view the web page without opening any browser, secondly you don’t have to keep separate file for saving the web page like you have to do while saving the web page as html/htm format. Web Page Saver (WPS) is an application which allows you to save or download web pages as pdf or images. WPS is perfect for capturing and saving hard copy of any web page including all the images.
Web Page Saver features and How To download web page using it
The free version of Web Page Saver only supports download and conversion of only five web pages. I think five is all we need, as tutorials and articles aren’t that long. And don’t worry you can run this application multiple times to download larger web pages.
On the first run, the application will pop-up and ask for serial number, just press OK to run as unregistered user with five web page limit. As you can see Web Page Saver has a very simple interface with buttons like ADD URL(s), OPTIONS, and START.
Click on ADD URL(s) to add the web page URL which you want to save as image or pdf format.
In OPTIONS, you can choose the format like JPEG, BMP, PNG image formats or PDF. After adding URL press START, and choose the download location to download the web page.
Conclusion: I tested this application software for my own web site, home page and just to tell you the truth, the image downloaded had all the contents as shown on the home page. The quality of the image was extremely good, thus making zooming in possible.
The application supports operating system like Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. I currently tested this application on Windows 7 64-bit.
